Heidi Noonan
Physical Therapist, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Advanced Dry Needling Specialist

Having owned a very successful Physical Therapy clinic herself for over 30 years, Heidi is now an integral part of StowePTP! She has an extensive coaching background in skiing, and paired with her personal experience, this provides her with the skills that are necessary to return high level athletes to their peak performance level.

In October of 2015, Heidi was seriously hurt during a kiteboarding accident leaving her temporarily paralyzed from the neck down. She has had a remarkable recovery, with residual permanent issues, but has been able to resume all previous activities and work. This experience provided Heidi with more empathy for life-changing diagnoses and knowledge of how to return to a prior level of functioning.

In addition, she's just plain ole' badass and Stowe PTP is lucky to have this Stowe legend aboard. Come and meet her if you haven't already.

What our patients say

Real experiences from people we have worked with.

The staff at Stowe Physical Therapy and Pilates are personal and professional. With their guidance and assistance I was able to regain full use of my arm after total shoulder shoulder replacement. Sara provided exercises to continue at home after therapy was completed which contributed to full range of motion and strength recovery. The support combined with personalized challenges made the session fun and rewarding. Thank you!!!

I first started with Kat about 5+ years ago presenting with hip pain that had been treated as sciatica. She sorted it out as a problem with my hip joint. We worked to rehab it and found I needed a replacement. She helped me prep for it and worked with me after and I made a full recovery. More recently we have been dealing with pain associated with my cancer. She is thoughtful compassionate and supported me . She is a great clinician and a wonderful person.

I have had several different sessions with Heidi at Stowe PTP and they have all been excellent! The facility is full of a wide variety of equipment, and the place is immaculate. All of the therapists are wonderful and take the time to help their clients learn all the necessary movements/exercises to improve range of motion and recovery from injuries. They offer on line exercises as well as a variety of thing to work at in the studio. I would highly recommend Stowe Physical Therapy & Pilates, PLLC

I’m so grateful for the care I received at Stowe Physical Therapy, specifically from Kat Dwyer. Last year, I came in with persistent hip pain that had been painful for months, and over the course of several visits she created a thoughtful, highly personalized plan of stretches and strengthening exercises that addressed the root of the issue. Kat has a wonderful way of explaining what’s going on in the body and how each movement supports healing. Beyond her expertise, I simply enjoyed spending time with her as a person. I've been pain-free for seven months now. Highly recommend!

I have worked with Kat and Heidi at their previous locations, and and have always found their therapy and advice to be tremendously helpful in my rehabilition from knee and shoulder injuries. More recently, Sara has guided my recovery from a herniated disc, vastly improving my mobility while reducing the pain, and educating me on self-treatment resources. You can't get better treatment anywhere else! Thanks, Dana Wehe

If I could do a 5 star PLUS rating, I would. Heidi took care of me after breaking my ankle last year, and was soo good. It's a great, positive environment with therapists who know their craft. So grateful - highly recommended!

I had back and sciatica issues. Fairly debilitating. I try to be relatively active and this cramping my life. Kate was able to derive the sources of my issues and develop a plan for treatment. I am chronologically enhanced so my outlook wasn't that bright. She got to where I was bike riding distance, hiking and all the activities I love. Kat, Heidi and Sara are knowledgeable, diligent and show empathy. If they aren't sure they are networked with each other as well as outside their sphere. Great having them here😃

I have been in and out of PT for the past 34 years for Neck, Back, and Shoulder Problems. Started going to Heidi about 16 months ago and she has done more to correct my problems than all the other Physical Therapist combined that i saw for all these years.I am very appreciative for all Heidi has done in terms of relieving my issues and teaching me to be pro active in reducing the likely hood of continual problems.

As a long-time distance runner, I would occasionally have niggling injuries which would require PT. I had relied on Heidi Noonan for many years and found her to be excellent. So with my recent problem of a nerve issue in my glute, it made sense for me to try Stowe Pilates & PT since Heidi worked there. I saw Kat Dwyer for this problem, and she was amazing. Not only was my "ache" completely resolved in a couple of months, but Kat also found some muscle imbalances and prescribed some great exercises to fix those as well. I highly recommend them both.

My husband and I recently moved to Vermont and went to Stowe Physical Therapy and Pilates for physical therapy services. I saw Kat and he worked with Sara—both had extensive experience in the specific areas we needed to address. From the start, Kat and Sara were attentive, straightforward, and easy to work with. They explained the plan clearly, tailored the treatment to our needs, and kept things moving at an appropriate pace. Our experience has been entirely positive. Thanks to their expertise and encouragement, we’re making steady progress, feeling stronger and more confident moving forward. If you’re looking for a physical therapist focused on real results and respectful care, we highly recommend Stowe PT and Pilates.
