Stowe Physical Therapy and Pilates is led by Doctors of Physical Therapy and and a polestar pilates rehab certified practitioner. We combine clinical expertise with a practical, performance-minded approach that respects where you are and where you want to go.

Dr. Kat Dwyer is known for building meaningful, inspirational relationships with clients. Kat received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont and completed her Polestar Pilates Certification in 2018. Prior to opening Stowe PT & Pilates, Kat spent time with renowned instructors in California, New Zealand, and Vermont. Kat's unique approach to rehab seamlessly marries both physical therapy and rehabilitative Pilates to address musculoskeletal deficits including sports related injuries, post-surgical injuries, and chronic pain. She also aims to improve overall fitness, strength and flexibility for her patients.

Having owned a very successful Physical Therapy clinic herself for over 30 years, Heidi is now an integral part of StowePTP! She has an extensive coaching background in skiing, and paired with her personal experience, this provides her with the skills that are necessary to return high level athletes to their peak performance level.
In October of 2015, Heidi was seriously hurt during a kiteboarding accident leaving her temporarily paralyzed from the neck down. She has had a remarkable recovery, with residual permanent issues, but has been able to resume all previous activities and work. This experience provided Heidi with more empathy for life-changing diagnoses and knowledge of how to return to a prior level of functioning.
In addition, she's just plain ole' badass and Stowe PTP is lucky to have this Stowe legend aboard. Come and meet her if you haven't already.
