FAQs

We're here to help you find the right starting point for your goals.

How do I know which service is right for me?

Start with a physical therapy evaluation if you're managing pain, recovering from injury or surgery, or working through a movement limitation. If you're an athlete or on a team looking for injury prevention, return-to-play support, or performance training, our team sports services may be the best fit. Pilates is typically a continuation of care after PT or a way to build long-term strength and control. It is also a cash-based offering. We'll help you decide during your first conversation.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept BCBS, MVP, Green Mountain Care/Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare. We also provide superbills for out-of-network plans, and all services are HSA/FSA eligible. Some services, like Pilates-focused training, are cash-based. We'll clarify costs and coverage options when you book.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit is an evaluation and movement assessment. We'll review your history, test your movement patterns, and talk through your goals. From there, we'll build a tailored plan that includes treatment, progressive exercises, and education so you understand the "why" behind every step. Most sessions are one-on-one and last around 50 minutes.

How long does recovery or training usually take?

It depends on your starting point, goals, and consistency. Many people notice improvements in strength and confidence within a few weeks. Post-surgical recovery and return-to-sport progressions may take several months. We use objective testing and benchmarks to track progress and adjust your plan as you improve.

Can I do telehealth, or do I need to come to the clinic?

We offer telehealth physical therapy when appropriate. It works well for follow-up visits, home exercise coaching, and some post-surgical check-ins. Hands-on treatment, movement assessments, and Pilates equipment work require in-person visits. We'll recommend the best format based on where you are in your care.

Still have questions?

Start with an evaluation and movement assessment. We'll build a plan that makes sense for your goals, timeline, and activity level.
